Duane Chapman Reveals His Love Francie Is A "Natural" After Going For Their First Bounty Hunt | "She Just Fit Right In"

Duane Chapman and Francie Frane bonded over their late spouses and got engaged in May 2020.

The last year and a half of Duane Chapman's life has been a roller coaster. He lost his wife Beth, and managed to find love again in Francie Frane, who he is engaged to. Recently, he opened up about his first bounty hunt with fiancée, Francie Frane. According to People, Chapman praised Frane and stated she is a "natural".

"I know she's a hunter. Her and her two sons have hunted bow hunt, so they track, they look for things that the prey leaves behind. And so she's kind of a natural," said the reality star, according to People.

"She just fit right in. She started getting leads and writing them down, so there's more than just tracking and hunting," added the star. He noted, "The investigation behind the investigation. And she's really, really good at that."

In the coming week, Chapman will appear on The Dr. Oz Show to talk about his first bounty hunting experience with Frane. Chapman will share how well they work together.

Chapman and Frane announced their engagement in May 2020 after they bonded over the death of their spouses. "I wasn't expecting it at all. I think I had gone to pick up some food and then when I came back he had all the lights turned down with just a few lights on and a bunch of candles lit. So when I came in I was like, 'Wow, this is awesome'. Then he said, 'Come in, sit down because I need to talk to you'. So I put all the food in the kitchen and I came in and he said, 'I know that God brought you into my life and I don't want to spend one moment of it without you'," said Frane, recalling the unexpected proposal, according to The Sun

Frane lost her husband to cancer just like how Chapman lost Beth. They helped each other through the grieving process and eventually formed a deep bond.

Chapman believes that their coming together was a part of a divine plan. "It's going really good. It's a God relationship because it's just like a miracle. It's a miracle how we met and it's a miracle how great we're getting along," said Chapman, according to The Sun. Chapman also stated that he felt that their coming together was Beth's doing.

"I know that when I start to feel bad about Beth and it's overwhelming, Francie seems to show up and that helps the kids. And I feel that Beth expects her to show up to take care of me. And Bob, Francie's late husband, expects me to be a man and a gentleman and so I am," said Chapman, according to The Sun.

He further stated that they had "real love" for each other and their similar experiences helped them understand each other better. Chapman's family also supported the relationship. They saw how happy their father was and appreciated Frane for keeping Beth's memory alive in their lives.

"They are both so happy together and they are good for each other. Francie has been very respectful to all the kids - and to Beth's memory - and my dad is the same way with Bob and their children," said Lyssa, one of Chapman and Beth's daughters, according to The Sun.

She continued, "They go to church three times a week and dad is trying to give up smoking - she is a good woman for my dad. He's the happiest I've seen him in a long time - he's so in love and wants to spend the rest of his life with Francie."

Some fans were not happy about the time Chapman took to move on after Beth's death. They felt he got into a new relationship too soon. However, the couple is not bothered by it. They think they have been through their fair share of pain.

"But the truth is that both of us have spent three years walking alongside our spouses sick and we know that God brought us together and that's why we don't believe that it's too soon," said Frane.
