Jennifer Aniston Is Set To Welcome Her Long-Awaited Child | "She Could Be A Mum By The Spring"

"Jen’s been considering adoption for a few years, but it was only when the first lockdown began last March that she really started pushing through with the process," an insider revealed.

Jennifer Aniston is getting ready to embrace motherhood. According to Closer Online, sources revealed that the actress has been working on adoption processes all throughout 2020 to welcome her child in the spring of 2021.

“Jen’s been considering adoption for a few years, but it was only when the first lockdown began last March that she really started pushing through with the process, which is now just months away from being finalized. She’s been told by her lawyers that she could be a mum by the spring, so long as everything goes to plan," said the insider.

They continued, "The pandemic hasn’t helped, as all the red tape has taken double the amount of time to work through. Having had friends go through it, Jen knows there are still a few hurdles to get over, but she’s remaining optimistic and has vowed to finally turn her dream into a reality.”

The news of Aniston's adoption plan comes months after she hinted at the prospect of motherhood in her future in February 2020, according to Cheat Sheet.

“My gut reaction was to say all of the above. It’s not so much what I see myself doing, but it’s more like a little screenshot in my brain. I hear the ocean, I see the ocean, I hear laughter, I see kids running, I hear ice in a glass, I smell food being cooked. That’s the joyous snapshot in my head," said Aniston, describing her vivid imaginations.

Aniston who has been single since 2018 is taking advice on the matter from Sandra Bullock. The Oscar-winning actress adopted her daughter Laila in 2015 and her son Louis in 2019. Aniston took her counsel when they met each other at Bullock's birthday celebration.
“After catching up on their news, the conversation naturally progressed on to Sandra’s two children, which prompted Jen to ask more questions around the adoption and the various stages after bringing the baby home," said a source, according to Closer Online

Being an experienced single mother, Bullock spoke to Aniston about the challenges that awaited her on her parenting journey. "With two young children, Sandra has been through the process much more recently and is embracing motherhood in later life. It’s helped give Jen a fresh perspective, especially as a single parent," said a source. They added, "Sandra told her it would be hard work and challenging and said there’d be some huge changes, but insisted she had zero regrets and, if anything, was happy she chose to do it later in life as the timing was so right. Seeing how happy she is being a mum made Jen really excited for the future.”

Meanwhile, the 51-year-old actress' decision has also inspired her close pal Courteney Cox to consider adoption. Cox who conceived her first daughter through IVF with her first husband, actor David Arquette wants to start a family with her musician fiancé, Johnny McDaid.

An insider stated, "Holding Jen’s hand through the adoption process has sparked something inside of Courteney. She’s been inspired to start looking into it herself, saying it would be perfect timing as she and Jen could do it together."

They added, "She’s considering all her options, but Jen has shown her age isn’t a reason to dismiss the idea of becoming a mother again. She knows how much Courteney would love to start a family with Johnny, and she’s encouraged her to go for it, joking at how they could bring up their new babies together and form the next generation of BFFs!”
