The beloved royal couple shared romantic photos to mark the day and royal fans can't get enough out of it
Believe it or not, Kate Middleton and Prince William just celebrated a decade of being married yesterday. The beloved royal couple shared romantic photos to mark the day and royal fans can't get enough out of it.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge released two new portraits which were taken at Kensington Palace this week by photographer Chris Floyd. One of the shots shows a smiling Kate cuddling up to William, leaning her head on his shoulder as the prince flashes a huge grin at the camera. Reports pointed out that the intimate photo was reminiscent of their 2010 engagement portrait. In the second shot, the couple can be seen holding hands as William gazes at Kate. The couple had walked down the aisle of Westminster Abbey in a fairy tale ceremony on April 29, 2011. Time seems to have almost flown by and the two are now parents to three children - Prince George, 7, Princess Charlotte, who will turn 6 on Sunday, and Prince Louis, who celebrated his third birthday last week.
In an article celebrating the couple's anniversary, PEOPLE spoke about how the couple had spent their first few years of marriage living in North Wales as Prince William worked as a search and rescue pilot in the RAF. It further said that they have now established themselves as leading members of the royal family as the future king and queen consort.
The couple got back to public duty on Tuesday and headed out to meet those helped by the Cheesy Waffles Project (CWP), which provides young people with learning disabilities with the skills and independence they need for adulthood, reported PEOPLE.
What makes it special is that the project is being supported by an organization called the Key that in the past had benefitted from money raised by the public in lieu of gift-giving when William and Kate got married in 2011, reported PEOPLE.
