Michael Jackson's Dad Said, "I Knew He Had Another Son" | Who Was the Mysterious Young Man That Is MJ's Secret Son?

There were claims of a DNA test conducted to confirm if he was indeed the song of the King of Pop.

Michael Jackson has three known children whom he loved dearly, but the star wasn't away from rumors of him having other kids just many celebs. However, things took a little turn when his father Joe Jackson admitted that he did have another kid other than Prince, 23; Paris, 22; Prince II, 18.

"Yes, I knew he had another son, yes I did," Joe Jackson told ABC News on July 23. It only added fuel to the spark ignited around The King of Pop's funeral when a mysterious man was seen sitting in the front row with the Smooth Criminal singer's family.

Joe had said that the boy "looks like a Jackson, he can dance like a Jackson. This boy is a fantastic dancer — a matter of fact, he teaches dance," and for some reason, the mysterious young man did look like Michael.

His name is Omer Batti.

In an episode of the Facebook Watch series Unfiltered: Paris Jackson & Gabriel Glenn, Paris said how her older brothers are her best friends, as per USA Today. This created more doubt since Prince is the only older brother she has. So, was she referring to Omer when she said, “Both of my older brothers are like my best friends. I love them so much"?

Turns out she was. Omer was seen in the video titled Meet Paris' Brothers along with his alleged siblings, all of them having a good time together. But things weren't the way we thought they were.

Cheat Sheet reported that the Omer came into Michael's life only after the singer hired Mer's mother, Pia Bhatti as Prince's nanny. In the Unfiltered episode, he said that he grew up around Michael's children and practically raised Paris along with his mother. "She’s my little sister in every way,” he added.

The 35-year-old rapper and dancer was with his parents in Tunisia in 1990 when he first met the pop star. He moved to Neverland along with his mother once she was employed by the Thriller hitmaker and became a part of their family. Growing up around Michael and being a part of all his concerts, Omer started to dress, dance, and perform like him. Michael became the young man's mentor until his death.

According to Amomama, he said, "As a little kid, looking up to him, the way I did back then, it’s like everything that I saw, it’s like I was like a sponge, just taking up everything." By adding that Michael, "in a way, adopted him," he gave rest to Joe's claims and the rumors about him being the result of a one night stand between Pia and the late singer.

Amidst the claims of The Sun that Omer was going to get a DNA test done, Jermaine Jackson's statement made the whole issue even more controversial. The pop star's brother and Jackson Five's former member said that if Omer was Michael's son, they would welcome him to the family with open arms, reported Fabiosa.

He said if the 35-year-old was the late singer's son, "We are going to give him the same love and care that we give Prince and Paris and Blanket. I can’t clearly say if he is Michael’s but I saw this kid around him." However, it's not clear if the DNA test was conducted since the results were not disclosed.

Back in 2009, The Mirror revealed that after the Billie Jean crooner's death, Omer had confided in a friend and said, “Michael is not my father. He and I were just very, very close. He was my best friend," He added that, “Michael always used to say I was like a son to him but my true parents are here in Norway."

Giving a reason to why he was present at the singer's memorial, Omer said, "The reason I was asked to sit with his family at the memorial service is because I was Michael’s closest friend – not because I am his son.”

He told another friend of his that Michael was more than a father to him. He "was such a special person to me and I cannot believe he is gone, I am in total shock. I have lost weight because I cannot eat anything. All I can think about is Michael and how he died.”

According to his mum Pia, Omer was totally crushed by Michael’s death." Omer's buddy, Ricky Harlow, revealed that Michael Jackson look-alike shared more than just talent. “There was a real bond between Omer and Michael," he said.

Now Omer shares that bond with his siblings who consider him their own.
