"Meghan portrayed herself as the victim, but she was the bully. People felt run over by her," a Kensington Palace staff member apparently said
Palace aides apparently thought that Meghan Markle was a "complete narcissist and sociopath - basically unhinged", claims British historian Robert Lacey's new book, Battle of Brothers.
A Kensington Palace staffer apparently told Lacey, "Meghan portrayed herself as the victim, but she was the bully. People felt run over by her. They thought she was a complete narcissist and sociopath - basically unhinged." The book, which talks about the rift between Prince William and Prince Harry, revealed that "William threw Harry out". It further claimed that the second in line to the throne felt “hurt” and “betrayed” and believed that Meghan seemed to be “stealing his beloved brother away from him. The Kensington Palace refused to comment on the book's claims, reported the Daily Star.
It had been reported back in March that the communications secretary to the Cambridges and Sussexes, Jason Knauf, had submitted an official email in October 2018 alleging that Meghan had been bullying members of staff. Lacey claims that Harry, 36, hung up on William when asked about the allegations against his wife, 39. “When Harry flared up in furious defence of his wife the elder brother persisted. Harry shut off his phone angrily, so William went to speak to him personally. The prince was horrified by what he had just been told about Meghan’s alleged behaviour, and he wanted to hear what Harry had to say. The showdown between the brothers was fierce and bitter," he wrote.
According to the book, William reportedly felt that the bullying allegations “linked unhappily” with the reservations he already had about Meghan. “William believed Meghan was following a plan — 'agenda' was the word he used to his friend — and the accusations he had just heard were alarming. Kate, he said, had been wary of her from the start," Lacey continued. He further quoted one Kensington Palace staff member as saying, “Meghan portrayed herself as the victim, but she was the bully. People felt run over by her. They thought she was a complete narcissist and sociopath — basically unhinged." Lacey claimed that Harry wasn't behind the Sussexes and Cambridges' split, "it was William who made the decisive move," reported the Daily Star.
