"...it was run into the gym, get a mat, get into the bathroom, get a mat on the floor, towels down, 'brace-brace-brace,'" said Mike Tindall.
The royal family has just welcomed another new member. According to People, Queen Elizabeth's granddaughter, Zara Tindall, welcomed her third child with her husband, Mike Tindall on 21 March 2021. The baby boy named Lucas Philip Tindall weighing 8lbs., 4oz is the 10th great-grandchild of the queen.
However, unlike other royal children, Lucas was not born in the comfort of a hospital. Mike revealed that his wife delivered the baby boy in the bathroom of their home. Speaking of the dramatic birth story onThe Good, The Bad & The Rugby podcast, he stated, "A little baby boy arrived at my house!"

Fortunately, Zara was not alone during the delivery. Her friend Dolly Maude was around to assist her when they realized that they did not have enough time to get to the hospital. "So, it was run into the gym, get a mat, get into the bathroom, get a mat on the floor, towels down, 'brace-brace-brace,'" said the 42-year-old.

When asked if the couple's other kids, Mia and Lena were present during the birth, he stated, "Zed [as he calls his wife] had contractions through the night — she hadn't slept well the night before so we had someone take the kids for the day."
However, he stated that their daughter Mia became suspicious and asked them a lot of questions. Further, he explained the kids were thrilled to see their baby brother. "When she got in she was over the moon. Both of them were. Lena is like 'my baby.' No, Lena, it's not your baby, as she tries to pick it up," said Mike.
