The Queen Has Just Shared A Rare Image Of Prince Philip From Her Private Collection

It's just so beautiful to look at such images and remember the wonderful times that went by.

The media has been on an overdrive trying to capture the essence of everything to do with the royal family following the demise of the gentle Prince Philip. But nothing is more valuable than an image that was shared by the Queen with the people straight out of her private collection.

The image (presented below) was shared on Instagram and the caption read: "The Queen wishes to share this private photograph taken with The Duke of Edinburgh at the top of the Coyles of Muick, Scotland in 2003."

It added: "Her Majesty and the Royal Family are grateful for all the messages of condolence from around the world and have been touched to see and hear so many people sharing fond memories of The Duke, in celebration of his life."

The picture does depict the wonderful relationship that the Queen shared with Prince Philip and reflects the ease with which the couple could smile when together.

Their love had spanned over 73 years of married life and it was no wonder that they still appeared like two young people still deeply in love.

And of course, the royal family shared again the image of the day the queen and Prince Philip got married. And if you look closely, the spark in their eyes always remained.
